Peninsula Interfaith Action
(PIA) creates justice by forging a common sense of purpose among
diverse communities, addressing local problems, putting faith into
action, building hope and finding solutions.
PIA helps ordinary people achieve extraordinary results for their communities.
Using the values of democracy and
diverse religious traditions, PIA helps people improve many aspects of
their local quality of life, including more housing that is affordable, better neighborhood schools, access to health care in local counties, improved economic opportunities, and safer communities with more support for youth.
Peninsula Interfaith Action is affiliated with the PICO National Network.
PICO equips faith-based organizations with community organizing skills
and links members across the nation for common purposes.
